Side Table

On my way to work about a month ago I saw this table on the side of the road. I really wanted to stop and pick it up, but I was already cutting it close to being late to work. So I figured if it is still there after work..it was meant to be. Turns out it was still there after work and I was just so happy. 

This is what the dusty little table looked like before. I cleaned her up and decided to paint her white. I used Behr paint and primer in one sample size. It actually was a perfect amount for only $2!

This is in the process of my table getting pretty.

 I did add an accent color on the inside of the legs of the table. That's why you see a hint of blue in this photo.

My weekend

I haven't updated my blog in a bit because I've been pretty busy with work. Yesterday was Easter and I spent 12 hours of my day at work. Today I have off and I went to the dog beach with Max(my little man), Sarah, Justin and their dog Chase :)

Freebies

I have been addicted to signing up for free samples...I mean it's free. It's Christmas every time I go to the mail box :) Today I got two of my free birthday cards in the mail from Card Store. I would show the actual cards, but I don't want my fiance or best friend to see the picture since their birthdays are in June LOL. 

Chalk Spray Elephant

I had off Sunday and Monday and was really in the mood to paint. I didn't have any money to go to the thrift store and buy anything so I went searching around the apartment looking for stuff. I have a big collection of elephants because they are my favorite animal. I have had this elephant for probably about 10 years now and I just had the urge to spray paint it with my new chalk spray paint. The only thing I need now is some chalk to write on my new elephant chalkboard! So I posted two pictures; the before and after.
